FAQs

Where can I eat?

There are many good eating places in Broadway and Chipping Campden, and two good pubs in our nearest village of Willersey. We are happy to give advice about which places are most popular at the time.

How far is the nearest village?

The centre of Willersey is just over a mile away (a grocery shop, 2 pubs, fuel station and a hairdresser). Broadway is a little further and has a post office, supermarket, hardware store and a range of other shops.

What's in each room?

You can find a list of what's in each room on the Your Stay page above.

Do you have a bar?

We have an honesty bar in our dining room stocking beers, spirits, wine, soft drinks & snacks.

Where's the nearest train station?

Honeybourne (4 miles) on the Cotswold Line from Paddington. Evesham (6 miles) and Moreton in Marsh (10 miles) are on the same line. We can often arrange to collect guests from the station.

Are there good walks in the area?

Many. The Cotswold Way can be picked up from Broadway, but there are many other good local walks, some from the farmhouse. We can provide advice and guides.

Are there good walks from the B&B?

The first National Trust pub in the UK - The Fleece Inn - is a pleasant 2 mile walk along bridle ways and small roads. A walk to Willersey and then up to Saintbury church on the escarpment is also very popular. For the more adventurous, walking on from there to Dover's Hill and Chipping Campden takes in some beautiful scenery.

Can I book for someone else's birthday?

Absolutely. Please contact us or see the Gift Vouchers link.

Is there a laundry nearby?

The nearest laundries are at Evesham or Moreton in Marsh.

Are you open at Christmas?

We are. We normally only close for a brief vacation time in January.

What time do we have to leave the room each day?

Once you have checked in you are free to come and go as you please, and you will have your own front door key to access at any time.

Is there plenty of parking?

There is a large car park at the front, and we have even accommodated coach, mobile home and caravan drivers and their vehicles.

What time's breakfast?

Breakfast is served from 8am to 9.30am, though earlier breakfasts can also be arranged on request.

Do you accept children at the B&B?

We welcome children above 6 years of age.

Do you accept pets?

We do not permit any animals in the guesthouse. We do have a very good local kennels half a mile from us - Rowan House Kennels. Some guests have left their dogs there for boarding and then taken them out with them during the day.

I have allergies; do you have any of your own pets in the house?

We do not. Our dog and cats sleep outside the house in the boot room or barn and are never permitted in the house.

Can I smoke in the room or public areas?

We're afraid not as the whole guesthouse is non-smoking. Guests may however smoke in the gardens if they wish.

Do you have hypoallergenic bedding?

Our standard bedding is all hypoallergenic (i.e. not made from animal skins, feathers, etc). We do stock feather down pillows which we can provide on request.
